The distinctive red hot air balloon of the Saalesparkasse with its white Sparkassen-S floats above Halle — captured from the Burgbrücke heading towards the Moritzburg with the Sigma 150-600mm at an extreme 546mm focal length. Passengers can be seen in the gondola gazing over the Saale city. At the bottom of the frame, out-of-focus treetops in warm late-summer light frame the scene. The aperture of ƒ/16 at ISO 250 ensures full sharpness of the balloon against the cloudless August sky.
