About My Photography
I focus on hobby photography in and around Halle (Saale), Germany. My work spans twelve genres: architecture, street, black & white, landscape, nature, night, macro, portrait, cityscape, culture, history, and seasonal photography.
I use different cameras and lenses depending on the subject and situation. You can find a detailed overview of my current gear on the equipment page. I believe that the best camera is the one you have with you.
The best photography locations in Halle (Saale) include the Marktplatz with the Market Church and Red Tower, the Peißnitz island for nature shots, Burg Giebichenstein for panoramic views, the Saale riverbanks for reflections, and the historic Old Town alleys for architectural details.
I try to add new photo series regularly, especially when seasons change or when I discover interesting new locations in Halle. Subscribe to the newsletter to be notified when new photos go online.
All images are protected by copyright. If you would like to use a photo, please contact me to discuss licensing terms. For editorial, educational, or non-commercial use, I am usually happy to grant permission with proper credit.
Contact me through the contact form with the photo you are interested in and your intended use. I will reply within a few days with a licensing proposal. For editorial and non-commercial use, licensing is often free with proper credit.
This is a hobby project, so I do not offer professional photography services. However, if you have a specific idea related to Halle (Saale), feel free to reach out — I might be interested in the project.
Every season has its charm. Autumn offers golden foliage on the Peißnitz and warm tones in the Old Town. Winter brings snow along the Saale and atmospheric fog. Spring showcases blossoms along the river, and summer rewards with long evenings and the Lanternfest.
